Application: 1. A monofunctional borohydrolytic agent for reducing beta-hydroxyketone to 1,3-diol. Conjugate reduction of α, β-enol. 2. Uses Highly stereoselective and regioselective hydroboration and reduction agents, capable of selectively reducing alkenes, alkynes, waxes and bulky compounds, but slower than borane, allowing the alkyne hydroboration to give alkenes under different conditions , Or the Australian alkene, or aldehyde ketone derivatives; also used to demethylate into methyl, ω an amino acid into lactam and so on.
